Nicolas Cage is no stranger to the concept of his new movie, Trespass. While promoting the film at the Toronto Film Festival, Cage shared a personal story about home invasion. He recounted, "It was two in the morning. I was living in Orange County at the time and was asleep with my wife. My two-year-old at the time was in another room. I opened my eyes and there was a naked man wearing my leather jacket eating a Fudgesicle in front of my bed. I know it sounds funny, but it was horrifying." Police were called, but Cage never pressed charges because he believes the man had mental problems.

Celebrity Spotlight
This summer, Hunter Hayes had the opportunity to open for Taylor Swift’s Speak Now World Tour. He’s taking the lessons he learned from that stint to prepare for his first headlining tour. “Watching the show – I’ve seen eight or nine of them now – and all the way front to back. Another cool thing has been sort of watching the production come together; watching them set up, watching all the pieces and kind of watching them of prep everything. Ya know, ‘cause I’ve got a lot of crazy, probably impossible ideas, for if I ever get to do a show like that. Ya know what I mean?” Hunter hits the road October 8th on his “Most Wanted” Fall Tour with the first stop in Beaumont, Texas.
• RELATED NEWS: Fans will be able to purchase one of two “experience” packages for the shows. The first includes coffee with the singer before the show, while the second allows early entry to venue day of the show. Both come with a Hunter t-shirt and pre-order of his debut album..

HOMETOWN HERO’S
Simply put, Hometown Hero’s are people who help others in some way.
Our Hometown Hero(’s) Today is/are Those Who Give
My heroes are the people I see everyday putting others before themselves. It really doesn't take much. When I see someone hold a door for another or give up their seat to some who really needs it, you don't have to go overboard for me and others to notice. Goodness is addictive!!

The Dallas Stars signed an agreement to sell the team to Vancouver businessman Tom Gaglardi and filed a prepackaged bankruptcy plan Thursday to help facilitate the transaction.
The deal is subject to a court-approved auction and NHL approval.
In a release, the Stars said the prepackaged Chapter 11 plan has support of the NHL and the team's lenders, who voted to accept it before filing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware in Wilmington.
NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said the filing Thursday culminated "months of cooperative effort" by the league, the team and its lenders, and the operators of the American Airlines Center, the team's home arena.
E-Mail “Inbox”
Is it wrong to ignore men if I don't feel like being bothered with them right now?
I don't feel lonely or desperate like I have in the past. I've been through crap and I like my freedom. I don't do "extra" things to try to make myself look real cute in front of men like I used to. I don't even talk to them if I don't have to or look at them. I don't make an extra effort to ignore them. I glance at everyone, but that's the extent of it.
What is happening is men are looking at me, smiling at me, and I don't care. I don't have a problem attracting men, I'm just not into the drama anymore. And I'm tired of the mangled and tangled situations I put myself in. I don't think I'm a bad person, but I know I make bad choices.
I just wonder if I'm living in fear and disappointment and not allowing myself to live out my purpose because of my actions and the way I feel?
Signed,
Marlena
Marlena, I think that perfectly fine. You take your time, reflect and figure out what you want. Then go out an get it. Maybe do a little social work, clear your head and get a better perspective.
Good Luck
HEALTH MOMENT
Many people suffer from pain, this might be the answer.
Low doses of the muscle relaxant taken at bedtime, help people with fibromyalgia sleep better and feel less pain, according to a small study.
"Bedtime treatment of fibromyalgia patients with low-dose muscle relaxant was safe and appears to be effective," says Seth Lederman, MD, president of TONIX Pharmaceuticals, which funded the study.
Fibromayalgia is a condition marked by fatigue, disturbed sleep, and pain. About 5 million Americans have fibromyalgia.
Muscle relaxant, marketed in higher doses by others as Amrix, Fexmid, and Flexeril, is already widely used ''off-label'' for patients with fibromyalgia, Lederman says. "Off-label" refers to the practice of prescribing medicines to treat conditions not been specifically approved by the FDA.
TONIX is developing a lower-dose version and improving the formula, Lederman says.
The results of the study are published online in The Journal of Rheumatology.

#1.) A tough economy doesn't apply to Halloween. Two out of three adults plan to dress up this year, and nine out of ten of them plan to get a new costume instead of reusing an old one. And PETS will be getting better costumes than humans this year. The average pet owner plans to spend $59 on a costume for their dog or cat, $52 for a costume for themselves, and just $34 on their kid's costume.
#2.) Americans who work full-time have decided what they really need is . . . a mid-day recess. More than half of workers surveyed said they thought a 10-minute outdoor recess would make them happier, healthier, and more productive.
#3.) Even in the modern era of oversharing EVERYTHING there's still ONE secret left. A new survey found that 90% of people say they REFUSE to discuss their SALARY with anyone except maybe their spouse or parents. Only 7% of people are comfortable sharing their salary details with other people . . . and 2% say they'll discuss salary but they'll LIE about how much they make.
If people know how much you make it usually creates tension.
And I leave you with this thought…
"My message is always the same: to cultivate and practice love, kindness, compassion and tolerance."
