CELEBRITY GOSSIP:

Kris and Bruce Jenner renewed their wedding vows during a family trip to Bora Bora earlier this year. Us Weekly reported that the Kardashian clan -- minus Khloe and husband Lamar Odom -- were on hand for the ceremony, which was held in honor of the couple's twentieth anniversary. The vows, of course, were filmed for an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which will soon air on E!.

Charlie Sheen is crediting Ashton Kutcher with giving him a new lease on life. Sheen discussed his character's upcoming funeral on Two and a Half Men -- where Kutcher is replacing him as leading man -- telling TMZ.com, "I have always been told that I have 9 lives, so it is going to be amazing to witness my own funeral which is clearly a win/win situation because Ashton has just given me a 10th." As has been reported, Sheen will be starring in a new sitcom -- a television adaptation of the movie Anger Management.

ON THIS DAY IN COUNTRY

Alan Jackson & Jimmy Buffett spent the first of eight weeks at the top of the Billboard chart with "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" in 2003.

The Best Of Tracy Lawrence was certified gold in 2001.

The Judds' "Rockin' With The Rhythm Of The Rain" went to Number One on the Billboard country chart in 1986.

Mickey Gilley hit the top of the Billboard country chart with a song from the Urban Cowboy soundtrack, "Stand By Me," in 1980.

Celebrity Spotlight

Joe Nichols premieres the music video for his new song, “Take It Off” today. In the video, Joe invites everyday people out of their busy lives and into his pool-side party world. Between this song and his other hit, “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,” some fans are starting to notice a theme developing within Joe’s songs. He has an explanation. “I’m lobbying for more nudity in country music. At least, in Dolly Parton’s world that’s what I’m lobbying for. But, anyway…No, I think it’s gonna be a fun song. It’s certainly taking off well and yes, it’s a little suggestive. It’s talking about going out to the lake and maybe getting a little naked but don’t we all do that sometimes?” Check out the non-stop fun in Joe Nichols’ new “Take It Off” video, available now on CMT.com.

HOMETOWN HERO’S

Simply put, Hometown Hero’s are people who help others in some way.
Our Hometown Hero(’s) Today is/are Travis Franklin
Even though my brother is ten years older than myself and he moved out when I was only seven, his presence in my life has made me a better person. Travis was put down many times in life but he always fought back. When my family was going through a very tough time it was Travis that pulled us through. He has inspired me to always persevere, no matter what life throws at you. I am so proud of my big brother.

E-Mail “Inbox”

Don,
I just met the most amazing woman in the world. She’s like no other, she has it all; breathtakingly beautiful, intellectually brilliant, a frat house sense of humor, an awesome high paying job and she absolutely loves football!

Now here’s the problem, she has perhaps the ugliest feet ever to walk God’s green earth!

To the point that last weekend at my family’s beach house we threw a huge party and when my 5 year old nephew saw her gnarled demon hooves, he ran off hysterically crying!

I don’t know if I can get passed this to further the relationship. What should I do?

Marcus

Hey Brother, try not to be so shallow. She is probably a little self conscious about the whole thing herself. So, try and think of a way that makes it okay, maybe foot messages, let her walk on your back, you get the idea. Maybe buy her a pair of boots and get over it. After all, she sounds like a great gal., don’t let this one get away! Good Luck.

MAN CAVE

Tim Tebow is winning Denver's quarterback competition -- for the No. 2 job behind starter Kyle Orton.
The Broncos released their depth chart Monday in advance of their preseason opener at Dallas this week and there was no change in the order from a year ago: 1. Orton; 2. Tebow; 3. Brady Quinn.

The Baltimore Ravens have signed veteran running back Ricky Williams to replace Willis McGahee, who they let go days before training camp.
Williams agreed to a two-year deal, the team announced on Monday.

HEALTH MOMENT

Got time on your hands? You’re not alone. No, I’m not talking about having nothing to do, I’m talking about age spots, sun spots, crepe-like texture, and other telltale signs of aging on your hands.
Our hands can be a dead giveaway of our real age, but dermatologists have a host of new treatments up their sleeves to add volume to hands and get rid of brown spots.
From injections of your own fat and other soft tissue fillers to laser hand rejuvenation, there are more treatments available today than ever before to treat the aging hand, says Dee Anna Glaser, MD, director of cosmetic and laser surgery at St. Louis University in St. Louis.
The focus on aging hands is somewhat of a natural progression, she says. “We spent time on our face, neck, chest, and now we are onto our hands [and] we have a lot of things at our disposal that are good options,” Glaser says.
It’s the final frontier, says Wendy Lewis, a New York City-based plastic surgery and skin care consultant and author of several books, including Plastic Makes Perfect. “Your face looks good, your neck looks good, your chest looks good, so our hands are the next extremities that show all the time and are subject to the most environmental abuse,” she says. Plus “it’s an area that is very difficult to cover up short of putting your hands in your pocket.”

WHAT’S FOR DINNER

Zucchini Boats on the Grill
Ingredients
• 2 medium zucchini
• 1 slice white bread, torn into small pieces
• 1/4 cup bacon bits
• 1 tablespoon minced black olives
• 1 jalapeno pepper, minced
• 3 tablespoons diced green chile peppers
• 1/4 cup minced onion
• 1/4 cup chopped tomato
• 6 tablespoons shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
• 1 pinch dried basil
• seasoned salt to taste
• ground black pepper to taste
Directions
Prepare the grill for indirect heat.
Place the zucchini in a pot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook 5 minutes. Drain, cool, and cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out the pulp to about 1/4 inch from the skin. Chop pulp.
In a bowl, mix the zucchini pulp, bread pieces, bacon bits, olives, jalapeno, green chile peppers, onion, tomato, and Cheddar cheese. Season with basil, seasoned salt, and pepper.
Stuff the zucchini halves with the pulp mixture. Seal each stuffed half in aluminum foil.
Place foil packets on the prepared grill over indirect heat. Cook 15 to 20 minutes, until tender.

BREAK TIME CHATTER

#1.) In Afghanistan, a U.S. Army staff sergeant has been using a TOY TRUCK to scout ahead in the road for bombs and IEDs . . . because, somehow, our military doesn't have that technology. And last week, the toy truck hit a trip wire and set off a bomb before six soldiers could drive over it . . . which saved all of their lives.

#2.) Kids born in the '80s were the first generation to get the full-on "you're special and unique and perfect" treatment. And now that they're in their late 20s, they're finding out how hard adult life can be. So this makes sense: According to a new study, having a quarter-life crisis in your 20s is more common than having an old-fashioned midlife crisis in your 40s.

#3.) Your coworkers are literally killing you. A new 20-year study out of Israel found that people who had better relationships with their coworkers were HEALTHIER and LIVED LONGER than people who didn't get along with people at work. It's because you spend so much time with your coworkers that you're best off when they become a support system for you.
Wonder if I can sue my last employer for the poor work environment?

And I leave you with this thought…

One must never lose time in vainly regretting the past or in complaining against the changes which cause us discomfort, for change is the essence of life.
