Celebrity Spotlight
Trace Adkins learns the importance of making memories with his little one in the video for his latest single “Just Fishin’.” The superstar’s youngest daughter Trinity stars alongside her famous daddy in the video, which makes its CMT debut today. Trace says he’s proud of the end result and happy to share the spotlight with his baby girl, even if it meant making a few compromises during the shoot. “I’m proud of it. I think it’s gonna serve its purpose. I think we should’ve been deep sea fishin’, landing some big Marlin, but you know…we had to go for the Brim. We don’t have that kind of budget anymore. I mean, she had a life-jacket on, surely she’d have had enough sense to let go of the rod.” Look for the premiere of “Just Fishin’” today on CMT and CMT.com.

Our Hometown Hero(’s) Today is/are Wes Baxton.
My hero is my uncle Wes because of his selflessnes. He spends his whole morning and sometimes afternoons and evenings on the tractor or repairing equipment out on the farm. Even at times helping cows give birth, Which at times makes him have to wake up at one in the morning. He also works on my grandpa's farm on top of his own. Plus he has a family to take care of. But the best part is that no matter what he does he doesnt complain. On top of all that he always makes time for his family and is one of the people that whenever you complain about anything you think about him because you feel bad for complaining. In my life time i have never seen him frown. I just wish that everyone could be like him.

HEALTH MOMENT
German chemical and pharmaceutical group Bayer said Monday that a phase III trial for Alpharadin on patients with prostate cancer met the primary endpoint of significantly improving overall survival and that the study will be ended early, given the good results.
"Based on a recommendation from the Independent Data Monitoring Committee, following a pre-planned interim analysis, the study will be stopped, and patients on the placebo arm will be offered treatment with Alpharadin," Bayer said in a statement.
The safety and tolerability of Alpharadin were consistent with phase I and phase II outcomes and did not show any unexpected changes in the drug's safety profile, Bayer added.
The trial treated patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer.
BREAK TIME CHATTER
#1.) The economy isn't just bad . . . it's literally ruining people's SLEEP and SEX DRIVES. In a new survey, 56% of Americans say they've lost sleep over their financial situation and 13% say their finances have affected their sex drives. Overall, 30% are legitimately ANGRY about their financial situation. Is That all?
#2.) Good news and bad news for dads. The good news: About two out of five people say Father's Day doesn't get as much attention as it deserves. The bad news: Just because they recognize it's underrated doesn't mean they're going to spend a fortune on you. 50% of people plan to spend between $25 and $99 this year and 13% aren't giving any gifts at all.
#3.) According to a new survey, about 10% of people really believe in the five-second rule. That is: If a piece of food falls on the ground, as long as you pick it up in five seconds it's safe to eat. The truth is, it's not . . . bacteria get on it the instant it hits the ground. Oh, ya, I knew that!
And I leave you with this thought…
"To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides."
