Darius Rucker and the Lifting Lives choir members he shared the stage with at the ACM Awards will meet again. Darius was touched by their performance of “Music From The Heart” and hopes to see them again this summer. “I can’t wait for the camp so I can go hang out. You know, just cause just they’re awesome. They’re awesome to hang out with. We laugh all the time. We’re always high-fiving and hugging. And these are my friends. This is my band.” The ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp is attended by young people with developmental disabilities such as autism and Williams Syndrome.

HEALTH MOMENT
A new research review strengthens the evidence that women with multiple sclerosis are about as likely as other women to have a healthy pregnancy—without putting their own health at risk.
Multiple sclerosis, or MS, is a nerve disorder thought to arise when a person's immune system mistakenly attacks that person's own nerve fibers. MS leads to symptoms like muscle weakness, numbness, vision problems and difficulty with coordination and balance.
Years ago, women with MS were advised to avoid pregnancy, partly out of concern that it could make their disease worse.
But studies in recent decades have shown that the opposite is true; many women see their symptoms improve or even disappear during pregnancy -- possibly because immune system activity naturally declines and levels of anti-inflammatory hormones naturally rise during pregnancy.
Recent studies have also suggested that women with MS are at no special risk of pregnancy complications.
It's been known that MS relapses often increase in the few months following delivery. But that's not thought to raise a woman's long-term risk of disability.
It's still important for women with MS to work with their doctor when planning a pregnancy. One reason is that they may need to stop taking their MS medication. The so-called disease-modifying drugs are not approved for use during pregnancy, and research suggests that at least one, beta-interferon, may be associated with miscarriage.
BREAK TIME CHATTER
I'm not sure any woman in the country will believe this, but there are men out there who think that brushing their teeth is more important than going on the Internet OR drinking alcohol.
--There aren't many. But they exist. And they can't ALL be dentists.
--In a new survey of men ages 18 to 45, and their Internet habits, 89% said they would choose Internet access over a toothbrush and toothpaste for a year.
--93% said they would choose the Internet over drinking alcohol and eating out at restaurants for a year.
--So, basically, you could assume a basic male priority list goes Internet, personal hygiene, alcohol.
That explains a lot!
And I leave you with this thought.
"We differ, blind and seeing, one from another, not in our senses, but in the use we make of them, in the imagination and courage with which we seek wisdom beyond the senses. "
