Celebrity Spotlight
Kenny Chesney and the co-writers of his 21st number-one hit, “Somewhere With You” celebrated the song’s success in Nashville earlier this week. The song was born out of a songwriting session between two songwriters Shane McAnally and JT Harding. “[JT] Shane and I had never met before and we got together, neither of us had a songwriting deal. But we believed in ourselves and we got together and wrote ‘Somewhere With You’, it’s a miracle really you know? [Shane] I can remember the moment at lunch when you said, ‘I mean I think we’ve stumbled onto something kinda crazy.’” Kenny told the crowd at the party, “I’m awfully glad that I’m the guy that gets to sing this song for the rest of his life.” Kenny plays the song every night on his Goin’ Coastal tour which continues tonight in St. Paul, Minnesota.
RIDDLE ME THIS
What flies but has no wings? What makes noise but does not sing? What has a tail but no feathers? Hint it's not a kite.
A flag! The noise is it flapping in the wind, it flies up in the air on a pole, and the tail is the rope with which it's tied to the pole!http://www.trickyriddles.com/random.php

HEALTH MOMENT
Calcium heart scans could help people lower their blood pressure and cholesterol levels, according to a new study on the controversial x-ray tests.
Several professional groups are already pushing for more widespread use of the scans, yet they've never been shown to cut the risk that people will die from heart disease.
What's more, recent studies have found no evidence that screening healthy people's hearts will influence their lifestyle or medication.
This lack of encouraging data has led some experts to fear that computed tomography (CT) -- a type of high-dose x-rays, which include calcium scans -- might do more harm than good.
For instance, a typical CT scan exposes patients to radiation. Experts say that translates into about one extra case of cancer per 1,000 typical scans.
Several organizations -- including the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology -- are pushing the scans in people without symptoms of heart disease, but other experts remain skeptic.
For example, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, a federal expert panel, currently discourages routine calcium scans in people who aren't at increased risk of heart disease.
For those who are, the panel says, there simply isn't enough evidence to give good advice.
BREAK TIME CHATTER
A Radio Shack in Hamilton, Montana, has tripled its business with a unique promotion: sign up for Dish Network satellite TV and get a free gun. The slogan is, "Protect yourself with Dish Network." Manager Fabian Levy said Dish Network was nervous about it, but "We're not just giving guns to felons." The deal includes a free background check. Also, if you don't want a Hi Point 380 pistol or a 20-gauge shotgun, you can opt for a $50 gift card from Pizza Hut.
* Considering the kind of customer service you get from cable TV companies, it might not be a wise idea to give the customers guns.
And I leave you with this thought.
"Warm, eager, living life - to be rooted in life - to learn, to desire to know, to feel, to think, to act. That is what I want. And nothing less."
