Celebrity Spotlight
SUNNY SWEENEY HAS SOMETHING IN COMMON WITH TAYLOR SWIFT! Sunny Sweeney has broken a record set by Taylor Swift in 2007. Sunny’s debut song “From A Table Away” is now a Top 10 song making her the highest charting single by a female artist since Taylor’s “Tim McGraw.” Sunny’s had the motto that hard work pays off, so she had a feeling that all of her hard work through the years would result in an accomplishment like this. But that doesn’t mean she’s not shocked. “Well this is kind of like what I expected because like I don’t generally take no for an answer very well. And so I kind of expected for it to happen. Now that it is it’s sometimes like, I just want to like get somebody to pinch me or something.” Sunny will hit the road with Brad Paisley during his H2O II World Tour when it kicks off May 28th at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

This Is Nuts
Researchers from La Sierra University in Riverside, California, have
published a report on longevity that disproves many old beliefs about how to live longer. The 20-year study of over 1500 people found men in longterm marriages outlived bachelors and divorced men, but marriage had no effect on the lifespan of women.
* Except for those who worked themselves to death cleaning up after their husbands.
HEALTH MOMENT
New research is challenging previous medical notions that "apple-shaped" people with more fat around their waist are at higher risk of heart attacks and strokes than "pear-shaped" people with fatter bottoms and hips.
A study of 220,000 people published Friday confirmed that being obese -- having a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or more -- is a major risk factor for heart disease, but found the distribution of fat on the body has no impact on that risk.
"Regardless of how you measure it, being obese is bad for your heart. This study suggests that measuring your waist is no better than calculating your BMI," said Mike Knapton, associate medical director at the British Heart Foundation charity, which part-funded the study.
Obesity has become a global epidemic, with more than half a billion people, or one in 10 adults worldwide, now considered to be obese -- more than double the number in 1980.
Cardiovascular diseases -- which can lead to heart attacks, strokes and other fatal events -- are the top cause of death worldwide, killing around 17.1 million people a year, according to the World health Organization (WHO).
BREAK TIME CHATTER
Every landlord has horror stories about tenants who trash properties or steal things, but Malaysia Landlord, has the ultimate bad tenant tale. He went to collect the rent on a house and discovered the tenants had left. They'd taken not only the furniture, cutlery, cupboards and everything in the house, but the entire house itself. There was nothing left but some scattered wood, a damaged TV and 24 concrete pillars. A neighbor said three men dismantled the house last month,
claiming it was on orders from the landlord. Ali filed what might be the first "missing house" report with the police.
Of course, being renters, they left permanent stains on the concrete pillars.
And I leave you with this thought.
"It is not what you get out of life that counts. It's what you give and what is given from the heart."
