Celebrity Spotlight
Rascal Flatts’ highly-anticipated TV special airs soon on ABC and the guys are really fired up about sharing a clip from their music video with Justin Bieber during the special. The trio collaborated with Bieber on his song, “That Should Be Me,” and on the set of the music video they claim to have convinced the teen star to cut his hair, which made headlines around the world. “[Gary] It was actually our idea for his hairstyle. [Jay] It really was. [Gary] As you can tell by some of the pictures we were the ones that actually cut it. [Jay] I didn’t realize that a tweeted photo was the shot heard ‘round the world. [Gary] But we all gathered enough hair to put our kids through college and we’re real excited about that. [Jay] You can see some of it on eBay under eBay user name ‘Levox 12’. [Gary] Feel free to put a bid in!” Catch behind-the-scenes video footage of Gary, Joe Don, and Jay with Justin during their TV concert-special, Nothing Like This: Presented by JC Penney, March 12th at 8 PM Eastern on ABC.
RIDDLE ME THIS
You are on a ship, over the side hangs a rope ladder with half meter rungs. The tide rises a half meter per hour. At the end of five hours, how much of the ladder will remain above the water assuming that nine rungs were above the water when the tide began to rise?
Nine rungs will be above the water. As the tide rises, so will the ship and the ladder.

This Is Nuts
The protests over union benefits cuts in Wisconsin took an odd turn Saturday, when filmmaker Michael Moore showed up to address the crowd. Moore
told them "America is not broke! Wisconsin is not broke!" Moore said the
"rich" are awash in cash that they are too greedy to share, and they
should be made to pay for all the government's debts. He said the protesters had
"aroused a sleeping giant," and "right now, the Earth is shaking and the
ground is shifting..."
* And then, the stage collapsed under his weight.
HEALTH MOMENT
A headache medication for migraines increases the risk for birth defects in babies born to pregnant mothers taking the medication, U.S. health officials said on Friday.
The Food and Drug Administration said new data shows the drug, sold generically and as Johnson & Johnson's Topamax, can cause cleft lips or cleft palate deformities.
Officials called on doctors to warn their female patients of childbearing age who are taking the medicine about its risks.
FDA's Russell Katz, who heads the agency's Division of Neurology Products, said doctors should think carefully before prescribing the drug to women and "alternative medications that have a lower risk of birth defects should be considered."
Cleft lips and cleft palates occur when the mouth does not fully form, causing a "split lip" or a hole in the roof of the mouth.
They can lead to multiple development issues because they can make it nearly impossible for babies to get adequate nutrition. They can be corrected with surgery, although sometimes several operations are needed.
Other generic drug makers also sell the drug under its chemical name topiramate.
BREAK TIME CHATTER
A student at East Lee County High School in Florida was removed from class and
questioned by authorities after school officials became concerned that his T-shirt might
be threatening. It read, "A friend will help you move, but a real friend will help
you move a body." After interrogating him at length, searching his locker and
reading his notebooks, sheriff's deputies decided he was telling the truth when he
claimed that he just wore the T-shirt because he thought it was "funny."
So the school expelled him for having a sense of humor.
And I leave you with this thought.
"At the core of all anger is a need that is not being fulfilled."
