Celebrity Spotlight

NEW KEITH URBAN VIDEO ON CMT. Keith Urban’s video for “Til Summer Comes Around” can now be seen on CMT.com and CMT. Keith fell in love with the song because of the metaphor between an empty theme park in the winter and a broken heart. (Cut #1) “Because they are a really desolate place. They are meant for summer and joy and laughter and color. So when they’re in the winter time, like Coney Island, in the dead of winter – closed down abandoned. Nobody’s around and all of the rides are locked frozen, that’s very much like we are when we don’t have love in our life.” The video, filmed in Southern California, includes various beach scenes with carnival rides. Keith’s other music video “Who Wouldn’t Wannna Be Me,” has been nominated for CMT’s Top Fifty Videos of the Decade, which fans can vote for on CMT.com.

HOMETOWN HERO’S

HOMETOWN HERO’S are people who serve other people, their community, and take pride in honoring, restoring, preserving, or celebrating an aspect of American hometown life, be it their work, passion, or pastime.
Thus, the truest meaning of “HOMETOWN HERO ” is people protecting, defending, caring for or serving others.
With that as the background, WHO is a “HOMETOWN HERO ” in your life or the life of others ? Some of the greatest “HOMETOWN HERO’S ” in our lives are unknown to the outside world and garner very little, if any, attention.

This Is Nuts
Last night, Sarah Palin made her debut as a Fox News commentator on Bill O'Reilly's show, and she proved to have a rather salty vocabulary. When asked about a "60 Minutes" story that slammed her abilities during the McCain campaign, she dismissed it as "a bunch of B.S." from the campaign managers. She said reporters are always trying to gin up controversy and gossip about her, but "the rest of America doesn't care about that kind of crap."

HEALTH MOMENT

Allergies
Allergic symptoms are manifested in various forms in different organs. These include recurring headaches, migraines, dizziness, irritability, nervousness, depression, neuralgia, conjunctivitis, eczema, hay fever, a stuffy or runny nose, diarrhoea, vomiting, asthma, shortness of breath, and swelling of the face and eyes. The same substance can cause different symptoms in different people at different times.
Allergies treatment using Nutrients
Certain nutrients have been found beneficial in the prevention and treatment of allergies. Often the intake of vitamin B5 brings great relief to the sufferer. This vitamin may be taken in a dose of 100 mg daily for a month.
Allergies treatment using Castor Oil
It is found that five drops of castor oil in half a cup of any fruit or vegetable juice, or plain water, and taken on an empty stomach in the morning, is beneficial for allergies of the intestinal tract, skin, and nasal passages.
Allergies treatment using Lime
Lime is considered an effective remedy for any kind of allergy. Half a lime may be squeezed in a glass of lukewarm water and sweetened with a teaspoon of honey. It can be taken once daily first thing in the morning for several months.
Allergies treatment using Bananas
One or two bananas a day are useful for those who are allergic to certain foods and who consequently suffer from skin rashes, digestive disorders, or asthma, The fruit does, however, cause allergic reactions in certain sensitive persons and they should avoid it.
Allergies treatment using Vegetable Juices
A quantity of 500 ml carrot juice or a combination of carrot juice with beet and cucumber juices, has been found beneficial in the treatment of allergies. In the case of mixed juices, 100 ml each of beet and cucumber juices should be mixed with 300 ml of carrot juice to prepare 500 ml or half a litre of mixed juice. This should be taken once daily.

BREAK TIME CHATTER

NASA reported that a mysterious object from space was expected to whiz by the Earth today at 7:47 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. They said it would miss the Earth by about 80,000 miles, but it was too small to cause much damage even if it hit. NASA didn't know what the object speeding past was, but said it could be space junk or a tiny asteroid.

And I leave you with this thought.
