RASCAL FLATTS READY FOR ANOTHER TEN YEARS. Rascal Flatts is kicking off 2010 with a bang as they mark not only the beginning of a new decade but also celebrate ten years of making great music together. So what has kept the guys fueled creatively for ten years? Jay DeMarcus says it’s always about a good song. (Cut #1) “I mean we are fueled by the power of a song. I mean when you can’t wait to get in there and cut a song and you can’t wait to sing it, that’s what fuels you creatively you know. And so you’ve got to find songs that cause you to want to do that. That’s what keeps you pushing yourself to be better than you were before.” Their career started in 2000 with the release of Rascal Flatts first single, “Prayin’ For Daylight,” and self-titled debut album. Fast forward ten years and Rascal Flatts has delivered eleven number one singles.

HOMETOWN HERO’S are people who serve other people, their community, and take pride in honoring, restoring, preserving, or celebrating an aspect of American hometown life, be it their work, passion, or pastime.
Thus, the truest meaning of “HOMETOWN HERO ” is people protecting, defending, caring for or serving others.
With that as the background, WHO is a “HOMETOWN HERO ” in your life or the life of others ? Some of the greatest “HOMETOWN HERO’S ” in our lives are unknown to the outside world and garner very little, if any, attention.

Much of the Northern Hemisphere is facing a bitter Arctic cold front this week. Burlington, Vermont, just got a record 33 inches of snow from one snowstorm; it’s freezing cold in India and Beijing; Seoul, South Korea, had its heaviest snowfall in 70 years; and even Miami residents are having to don thick overcoats.

Wrinkles occur due to ageing process
Though wrinkles are a part and parcel of the ageing process, premature wrinkles are a cause of concern for many. Some of the common causes of wrinkles on skin are -
Over exposure to sun -
Smoking -
Pollution -
Repeated motions such as squinting can cause wrinkles around the eyes.
Drug use
Stress
Weight Loss -
Loss of Vitamin E -
What can you do?
Here are some simple home remedies to deal with wrinkles on skin and prevent the formation of new ones –
Apply egg whites to the skin under your eyes.
Odor-free castor oil can be applied to the skin under the eyes or on that of the throat.
Gently massage coconut oil on portions of skin prone to wrinkles every night a bedtime.
Cut a green Thompson seedless grape in half and gently crush it on your face on the wrinkles. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water and let it dry in natural air.
Rub the core of pineapple on the face and leave it for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off. This works well on fine wrinkles.
Applying juice of green pineapples and apples on the face daily for 10-15 minutes is good for fine wrinkles and cracked skin.
Application of pure castor oil regularly prevents wrinkles.
More smiling, less squinting and frowning are ways to keep your face young, wrinkle-free and attractive.
BREAK TIME CHATTER
Benjamin Brown of New Hartford, New York, was arrested for allegedly attempting to sell marijuana. Employees at an Applebee’s restaurant say he came in, ordered a drink, and began trying to sell weed to the other customers.
* The manager finally called the police, after they sold out of Triple Chocolate Meltdown desserts.
